Windows Event Log Service Not Starting

First, try to clear out the existing logs from: %SystemRoot%\System32\Winevt\Logs and make sure the permissions on the folder were ok.

If it doesn’t work, the last recommendation is that delete the Key: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\EventLog then try to start the Windows Event Log service.
