HP ILO sometime face hung-up issues and freezes on the interface. In this case we would need to reset the ILO controller to fix the issue. ILO can be easily reset using Putty Tool.

1. Establish a session to server ILO using Putty.
2. Move to Map1 using “CD Map1”.
3. Execute the command “reset”.

“CLI session stopped message” would be displayed on the screen and the reset would be completed in 30-50 secs.
